Neighborhood Music Stapleton is seeking choir and musical theater students to perform on Broadway at The Gershwin Theater, home of Broadway's Wicked as well as The Theater Hall of Fame. Students will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to perform alongside seasoned Broadway performers in an inspiring concert event to raise funds for Autism Speaks. Past performers include Laura Osnes (Cinderella, South Pacific, Grease), Adam Jacobs (Aladdin, The Lion King, Les Miserables), Mary Testa (Xanadu), and Stephen DeRosa (Boardwalk Empire, Into the Woods, Hairspray). Students will spend four days in NYC participating in the Believe-NYC program and touring popular attractions! This adventure ends with a landmark performance at The Gerswhin where students will perform in a minimum of three musical numbers with Broadway performers.
