Get to know Sam
Sam Cole earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Metro State College of Denver in 2011. Adept at working with students of all ages and abilities, he provides music instruction in violin, fiddle, mandolin, and ukulele.
Classically trained, Sam was first introduced to the violin at age thirteen. He is fascinated by the versatility of the instrument and uses it to access a variety of music including Classical, Swing, Bluegrass, Folk, Celtic, and Jazz. Sam plays violin with several local bands, orchestras, and chamber ensembles, and collaborates with an assortment of musicians throughout Denver and Boulder.
Sam relishes the intimacy of private lessons. He believes that music education fosters focus, dedication, and patience, and he approaches each lesson as an opportunity to encourage both mental and physical development. Sam is continuously inspired by the creativity and excitement that flows from his students, and it is with joy and enthusiasm that he shares his passion for music with others.
